Intra-muscular injection Course Intramuscular injection is a rapid absorption phenomenon, which allows nearly 65% absorption of the medicine into the blood. Most common and safe sites for i/m injection are deltoid, ventrogluteal, dors _gluteal and thigh. On these sites muscles are bulky and have high vascularity, therefore injected medicine quickly reaches the systemic circulation and into the specific region of action. Most common intra-muscular injections are Vitamin B, C, B12, Biotin. In this course students will learn skin anatomy and physiology, facial muscles, intramuscular injection technique, benefits, Healing and Risks, Aftercare. However, after the theory students will have a small assessment of questions and answers before lunch break. After the break they see the live demo and do the practice on live models.at the end of the course day, they will receive their CPD course certificate.
