It is a procedure which involves skin pricking with tiny- sterilized needles to cause skin injury to enhance new collagen and elastin formation. it works well for all types of skin and can be done
on all parts of the body. One session takes 10 – 20 minutes, however, 4-6 treatments are
needed with 2 weeks interval time.
Types of micro needling treatments:
Derma Pen - targets different skin layers to revitalise & rejuvenate the skin. Skin Products which
are used in micro-needling stimulates cell proliferation and reduces the skin’s contours and
improves elasticity. These products contain hyaluronic acid, minerals, vitamins, and peptides,
which helps to improve the skin texture.
Derma roller - is a disposable manual device, it is rolled over the skin to create tiny punctures in
the skin, which causes the skin to start rejuvenation, making it smoother and younger looking.
In this course students will learn, skin anatomy and physiology, Facial muscles, types of Micro-
needling, Benefits , Healing and Risks, Aftercare, Needle depth chart, side- effects, contraindications and after care. However, after the theory students will have a small
assessment of questions and answers before lunch break. After the break they see the live demo and do the practice on live models.at the end of the course day, they will receive their CPD course certificate.
