Intramuscular injection is a rapid absorption phenomenon, which allows nearly 65% absorption of the medicine into the blood. Most common and safe sites for i/m injection are deltoid, ventrogluteal, dorso- gluteal and thigh. On these sites muscles are bulky and have high vascularity, therefore injected medicine quickly reaches the systemic circulation and into the specific region of action. Most common i/m injections are Vitamin B, C, B12, Biotin.
In this course students will learn skin anatomy and physiology, facial muscles, intramuscular
injection technique, benefits , Healing and Risks, Aftercare. However, after the theory students
