Advanced Botulinum Toxin Course

Botulinum Toxin is a neurotoxin produced by bacterium clostridium botulinum is an
anaerobic, gram-positive, spore-forming rod commonly found on plants, in soil, water and
the intestinal tracts of animals.

Botulinum toxin, also called “miracle poison,” is one of the most poisonous biological
substances known. High doses (approximately, more than 40,000units) of this toxin can
cause Botulism, which is a rare but serious illness, in which, toxin attacks the body's
nerves and causes difficulty breathing, muscle paralysis, and even death.

In this course students will learn facial anatomy and physiology, different types of botulinum toxin and their required dosage according to the treatment area, side effects, contraindications and after care. However, after the theory students will have a small assessment of questions and answers before lunch break. After the break they see the live demo and do the practice on live models.at the end of the course day, they will receive their CPD course certificate.
