Whereas Aqualyx is a compound solution of deoxycholic acid, which is a bile acid. It works as an emulsifier and solubilizes the dietary fats in the intestine and when used as injectables. It disrupts the cell membranes in adipocytes and destroys fat cells in that tissue, known as adipo-cytolysis. This results in an inflammatory reaction and clearing of the adipose tissue remnants by macrophages. Deoxycholic acid’s actions are reduced by albumin and tissue-associated proteins, therefore its effect is limited to protein-poor subcutaneous fat tissue. Protein-rich tissues like muscle and skin are unaffected by deoxycholic acid, contributing to its safety profile. However, after the theory students will have a small assessment of questions and answers before lunch break. After the break they see the live demo and do the practice on live models.at the end of the course day, they will receive their CPD course certificate.
